To calibrate an oxygen analyzer, make sure your oxygen sensor is in clean and dry condition as high humidity and extreme temperature will greatly affect the accuracy. To start the calibration, simply follow the below 2 steps:
- The normal oxygen concentration range in the air is 20.7-21%. Measure the room air and calibrate the monitor to 20.9% oxygen.
- Place the external probe in a stream of greater than 99% purity oxygen via oxygen tubing or other instruments. Expose the sensor to the calibration gas at a regulated pressure and flow at a rate of 1-10 LPM. Calibrate the monitor to 100% oxygen.
